A.B. May offers sewer line repair, replacement and installation. Our expert technicians can handle a number of problems including:
- Corrosion - the line has areas where it has collapsed due to deterioration
- Cracked, broken, offset, or collapsed pipe
- Bellied Pipe - the pipe, due to ground or soil conditions, has sunk and created a valley in it that collects paper and waste
- Leaking Joints - water is escaping into the area around the pipe through the broken seals between the pipes
- Roots in the sewer line
If you are in a situation where your sewer line needs to be replaced, we've got you covered. We have options that can save you money and give your peace of mind through the entire process.
This is the "open cut" or "trench" method. This method will allow the technicians to gain access to the damaged portion of the pipe. This usually requires using a back hoe to open and refill the work area. There can be a rather large disruption of your yard, garage and/or driveway if the sewer line runs beneath them.
Trenchless Repair - Pipe Bursting
This method causes less damage than traditional trenching. Small access holes are made where the damaged pipe starts and ends. Our hydraulic machine pulls a full sized replacement pipe through the old path, while breaking up the damaged pipe.
