We've all been there--you turn on your air conditioner on and there's a problem. There's no need to panic. We are here with advice on how to fix the most common air conditioner problems.
Your A/C Is Not Cool
  • Your air conditioner might be running low on refrigerant. An HVAC technician can remedy this.
  • Do you have a window unit? If so, the thermostat sensor may not be in the right position. 
  • Make sure that your air conditioner's drain is not clogged.
Your Air Conditioner Won't Turn On
  • If you air conditioner won't turn on, make sure your thermostat is on. Change the batteries as needed.
  • When your thermostat is working properly and the A/C still won't kick on, it could be an electric failure. This can be remedied by a professional.
​Restricted Airflow
  • A clogged or dirty air filter will hinder your air conditioner's efficiency. Remember to change your air filters once a month in the summertime.
  • If ​your air ducts are leaking or clogged, air will not be able to travel to its destination. It is important to have your air ducts sealed and cleaned by a professional.
