Arctic air has definitely hit the Kansas City area. We are extremely busy today due to the low temperatures. We are continuing to schedule service calls and are working hard to get to you as quickly as we can. If you are on the schedule today, we will give you a call as soon as a technician is available in your area. Until then, we recommend using space heaters and keeping your faucets dripping for the safety of your home. Also, a fresh filter will improve airflow and may increase the temperature inside your home.
Furnaces are usually designed to keep your home about 60 degrees warmer than it is outside. With extreme cold weather, your home may stay around 60 degrees--even with a working furnace. Change your air filter(s) for maximum airflow and call us if you think your furnace needs attention.
