Aleda (“A”) and Bill (“B”) Posladek purchased the May Furnace Company in 1959 with a plan to offer our city top-quality comfort and service. Since then, three generations of Posladeks have worked together with the A.B. May family to serve more than half of the homes in the Kansas City metro.
Phil was great; he was the best technician we have had come out from AB May. He explained all the work he had to complete and did so thoroughly. Also, he let me know about the ultraviolet (UV) treatment that I could get installed to sterilize our AC system from bacteria/mold etc. We will definitely be getting this installed in the near future. I wish all the techs were like Phil- he's a great guy and great at what he does.
Absolutely the best company I have ever done business with. Two technicians at my home today, Jason and Heath to find an electrical issue I had. Both were extremely efficient and spent time explaining their findings and their fix for my issue. So happy for the professional service and care provided to my home. 100 percent satisfied!!!
Our AC went out at on a very hot day. I called AB May at 5:00 pm, not expecting to get service until the next day. Kyle just happened to be in the area and finishing up a job and was at my house by 5:30. What started as a simple fix turned out to be a 3 1/2 hour job. He fixed the AC, cleaned the AC and the furnace and air conditioning was restored. Poor guy was at our house until 9:00 and with a smile on his face, very pleasant, professional and did not rush through even though it was late. Great service. Thank you
I just can't believe the time and effort the two guys who put in the furnace and the ac unit from 8:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. at my house. They work through without lunch break. They were very friendly and patient in doing their work. They even took the time to explain some of the details on how the furnace and AC work. A job well done A.B May Co..

Our water pipes were frozen on one side of the house. The A.B. May professional arrived in the evening after working all day unfreezing pipes. He was so patient and willing to solve our problem and knowledgeable. He had to be bone tired yet his customer service was wonderful. The pipes were in a strange place so he had to try 3 different approaches before getting them to thaw. Thank you so much, Bruce!! We really appreciate what you did and how you did it!
Alex was an exceptional person and courteous. He analyzed the situation and made good decisions about the actions to take ... and got to work quickly. He provided an easy to understand explanation of the repairs he was making. He was efficient in what he was doing.

Prompt (same day), courteous service by Matt from AB May for an issue with our furnace. Accurately diagnosed the issue and put a temporary (but workable) fix in place while a part was ordered so we could have heat on a cold day/night until the part arrived. Part came the next day and as soon as it arrived, AB May called to get us on the schedule for that evening. Matt, who I don't think is usually scheduled for late evenings, went out of his way to come back that evening to put the part in the furnace. He provided excellent, knowledgeable service and also identified some other work that will need to be planned for this spring (is not a safety hazard but could cause issues with the furnace long term). We have had nothing but excellent experiences with all of the technicians from AB May. Great company!
We have been very happy with the service, professionalism and friendliness of all the people we have encountered with AB May. Yesterday Melvin came and fixed a sensor problem. He was friendly, courteous and fixed the problem quickly and at no cost (due to the warranty on a new furnace AB May had installed for us). We are VERY HAPPY with the new furnace and air conditioner AB May installed. It is so much more comfortable in our home and energy use is way down.
