A.B. May Water Heater Giveaway – Official Rules 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF MONEY IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS GIVEAWAY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE THE CHANCES OF WINNING. 

The A.B. May Water Heater Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is intended for legal residents who own homes within the Kansas City service area of A.B. May and shall only be construed and evaluated according to applicable USA law and Kansas and Missouri state laws. Do not enter this Giveaway if you do not have residence in the designated service area or are otherwise ineligible to enter in accordance with these Official Rules. The Giveaway is sponsored by A.B. May Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC d/b/a A.B. May Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, 7100 E 50th Street, Kansas City, MO 64129 (the “Sponsor”). 

ELIGIBILITY: The Giveaway is open to legal residents who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and own a home within the A.B. May Kansas City service area. Non-eligibility or non-compliance with any of these Official Rules will result in disqualification. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law. 

AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway. Winning the Grand Prize (as defined below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 

HOW TO ENTER: The Giveaway begins at the opening of the home show on January 10, 2025, and ends at the close of the home show on January 12, 2025 (“Giveaway Period”). 

Via Home Show Entry – Entrants can enter the Giveaway by visiting the A.B. May booth at the home show and completing the entry form with their full name, address, phone number, and email address. By completing the Giveaway entry form, an entrant will receive one (1) Giveaway entry. Someone will contact you and schedule installation within 1 month of winning. 

The Released Parties are not responsible for late, incomplete, delayed, undelivered, or misdirected entries. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned except as provided herein. 

GENERAL CONDITIONS: If for any reason the operation or administration of this Giveaway is impaired or incapable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical failures, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual deemed to be tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE GIVEAWAY PROCESS OR UNDERMINE ITS LEGITIMATE OPERATION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt or use of the Prize. 

DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by the Sponsor. The Prize drawing will be conducted shortly after the Giveaway Period ends. The potential Winner will be notified via social media or other contact information provided at entry. 

GRAND PRIZE: There will be one (1) Grand Prize available. The Grand Prize Winner, upon confirmation of eligibility, will receive a State Industries GS6-40-BCT-410 Water Heater (40-gallon capacity) valued at $2,800, including basic installation. 
 
Prize Details: 
 
– 40-gallon capacity. 
– Energy-efficient design with a 0.66 Uniform Energy Factor. 
– First-hour rating of 80 gallons at 40,000 BTU/hour. 
– Piezoelectric ignition system. 
– Low NOx burner for environmentally conscious performance. 
Installation includes standard setup; additional modifications or services may incur additional costs, which are the winner’s responsibility.
– All other expenses associated with Prize acceptance or usage not specifically mentioned herein are the responsibility of the Winner. 

ADDITIONAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: By accepting the Grand Prize, the Winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor from any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Giveaway or receipt of the Prize. The Winner will be responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes associated with the receipt of the Prize. If a Prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, or if a potential Winner cannot be reached, the Prize will be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be selected. 

DISPUTES: All issues and questions concerning these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor in connection with the Giveaway shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Kansas and Missouri state laws. 

SEVERABILITY: If any provision of these Official Rules is deemed invalid, all other provisions will remain in effect. 

MISCELLANEOUS: These Official Rules represent the full understanding of the Giveaway terms and supersede all prior agreements.
