What to Expect during a Service Call

At A.B. May, we work hard to provide exceptional home service to our homeowners. Our technicians are trained to diagnose and present repair options, answer questions, and educate you about your home systems. We want you to have the best experience possible. Our plans are designed to be used, so call or use our online form whenever you need service.


Here’s what to expect from an A.B. May service call:

  • We make it easy. No need to fill out a claim form. When you need service, simply call 913-383-2222  or use the online form to schedule. We will call to confirm you are home before sending a technician, and you’ll receive a text with their name and photo. 
  • The technician will thoroughly explore and evaluate the problem, present findings, and then discuss repair or replacement options with you. Most of the time, a repair option is covered by your Gold or Silver Plan. Our coverage is detailed by trade in the brochure. Please ask any questions you have.
  • When you’ve made the best decision for your home, our technician will get your approval and quickly go to work. They will wrap up the visit with payment. 
  • Afterward, we will email you the receipt, and you’ll have the opportunity to give us feedback with a survey. And as always, if you have questions or concerns, please contact a member of our Customer Advocacy Team at 816-448-0611 or
