What is a Home Energy Evaluation?

An Energy Evaluation, or Energy Audit, is a free comprehensive energy assessment of your home’s energy usage. Unique to A.B. May, our Service Advisors will start their appointment with an audit of your existing heating & cooling equipment and conduct a whole home energy analysis. Your evaluation will include recommendations on ‘how to’ reduce your monthly utility bills, save money, and qualify for rebates and tax credits. Every recommendation is tailored to each homeowner’s energy usage.

What to Expect During an Audit of your Home Energy:

1. First, our Service Advisor will sit down with you and take time to understand and evaluate your system, and your home energy usage.
2. Based on your energy assessment, they will look for opportunities to improve your energy consumption, home comfort, safety, property value, and rebate eligibility.
3. At the end of your energy audit, our Service Advisor will explain your detailed analysis and provide you with equipment options to increase your home’s energy efficiency.
